Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Us Books. We've tried to write them in plain English — if anything is unclear, just email us.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using The Us Books, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or have a parent's permission) to create an account.
Your content
You own the recipes, photos, and stories you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and print them in order to provide the service. We will never sell your content or use it to train AI models.
Acceptable use
Don't upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates someone else's privacy. Don't try to break the service or access other people's books without permission.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account page; the plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Printed books
Printed books are made to order and are non-refundable once printing has started, except in the case of a manufacturing defect, in which case we'll replace the book at no charge.
Refunds
Subscription refunds are available within 30 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied. Email support@theusbooks.com to request one.
Service availability
We work hard to keep The Us Books running 24/7, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may occasionally take the service down for maintenance.
Account termination
You can delete your account anytime from your account page. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided 'as is.' To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Us Books is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify registered users at least 30 days in advance.
